Key Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Oversee and verify daily food & beverage (F&B) sales summaries, night audit reports, and cash handling.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and manage petty cash accounts.
• Prepare comprehensive monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure full compliance with Kenyan tax laws (VAT, PAYE, Tourism Levy, and Service Charge distribution).
• Assist in year-end audit preparations and budgeting cycles.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality Management.
• Professional Qualifications: Minimum of CPA-K or equivalent certification.
• Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience, with a strong preference for backgrounds in the hospitality/hotel industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in hospitality ERP systems (e.g., Opera, Micros, Fidelio, or QuickBooks) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Core Skills: High integrity, sharp analytical skills, and the ability to work under tight financial deadlines.
