Role Summary:

Avenue Healthcare is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead and oversee the overall operations of Thika Hospital. The General Manager will be responsible for driving strategic growth, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the hospital.
• Oversee daily operations, including clinical and non-clinical departments.
• Drive business growth and financial sustainability.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team.
• Foster a patient-centered culture and enhance patient experience.
• Manage budgets, resources, and operational performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including staff, patients, and partners.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field (Master's degree is an added advantage).
• Minimum 8-10 years' experience in healthcare management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, regulations, and quality standards.
• Proven track record in strategic planning and business development.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to drive change and foster a culture of excellence.
