Summary
Reports to : Stores Supervisor
Location : Mlolongo town
Gross monthly Salary : Kshs 30,000
Job purpose:
To provide smooth administrative support in stores operations from ordering, storage, issuance and restocking of goods produced, dispatched, and received into/by the company.
Description
Monitor stocks levels to ensure required minimums are maintained and timely raise re- stocking alert with the stores Supervisor.
Assist in receipt of goods, verifying, oversee offloading, generating the GRN/GI, signing off the delivery notes. Sometimes assist in packing, loading or offloading.
Issue stocks using the ERP system and physically. Ensure stocked items can be physically traced through proper housekeeping and labelling. Ensure the stores are locked as required.
Proper keeping of all store’s transactional records both in hard and soft forms. Updating the ERP system on the inventory module.
Participate in stock-take/audit exercise.
Ensure all physical stocks or finished products issued/received are as per the job orders/BOQ and stock cards. Raise any issues noted with the stores Supervisor and reconcile any variances promptly.
Step -in for the Stores Supervisor during leave of absence.
Undertake other duties as may be assigned by the Management
Education
Diploma in store keeping studies from a recognized training institution.
Computer literacy with ability to use an ERP system (ODOO preferred) and basic Microsoft office programs

Over 3 years working experience as a Stores Clerk in a busy metal parts manufacturing factory/body assembly or parts sales preferably in automotive sector.

Highly organized, attention to details and keen tracking of issues. Timely raising issues with Management. Stock Loses incurred due to negligence will be surcharged.
Ability to meet deadlines with timely updates on progress.
