Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in teaching and mentoring students in music composition, theory, arrangement, and creative music practice
  • Support composition projects through creating, arranging, editing, and reviewing musical works
  • Assist in conducting research and creative activities in music composition and related discipline
  • Participate in departmental activities such as performances, workshops, concerts, examinations, and academic program
  • Maintain and support music resources including scores, recordings, software, instruments, and learning materials

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor in Music or related Program
  • Must have skills in composition, music arrangement, orchestration, music theory, notation software, and digital music production
  • Must have at least two (2) years’ relevant experience in music composition, teaching assistance, research, or creative music practice
  • Must be a member or eligible for membership in recognized music bodies such as MCSK, KAMP, or other relevant professional association
  • Must present a comprehensive portfolio of original compositions demonstrating their creative work
