MEMA Awards, a leading empowerment platform for creatives across East and Central Africa, is expanding its team and inviting talented professionals, agencies, and freelancers to join us.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on the role, successful candidates will be expected to:

• Plan and implement projects, campaigns, programmes, or initiatives aligned with MEMA's strategic objectives.
• Deliver high-quality professional services within their area of expertise.
• Develop innovative solutions that strengthen Africa's creative and cultural industries.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams, partners, artists, clients, churches, and other stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, partners, sponsors, and industry stakeholders.
• Prepare reports, presentations, proposals, and other relevant documentation.
• Manage multiple assignments while meeting agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Promote the MEMA brand through professionalism, creativity, and excellence.
• Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices relevant to their profession.
• Uphold high standards of integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, and accountability.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• A Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent professional qualification relevant to the position applied for.
• Relevant certifications or professional memberships will be an added advantage where applicable.
• Demonstrated knowledge and practical skills in the relevant field.

Experience

• Relevant professional experience in the position applied for or a closely related field.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable results and managing projects or assignments successfully.
• Experience within the creative, media, events, marketing, communications, music, nonprofit, or corporate sectors will be an added advantage.
