Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Greenhouse Supervisor to oversee our greenhouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of horticultural practices, team management skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of production.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily greenhouse operations, including planting, cultivation, pest and disease control, and harvesting.
• Ensure adherence to quality control standards and production targets.
• Manage and train greenhouse staff, providing guidance and support.
• Monitor environmental conditions within the greenhouses (temperature, humidity, light) and adjust as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of production, inputs, and staff activities.
• Implement and enforce health and safety procedures within the greenhouse.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of products.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in greenhouse management or a similar horticultural role.
• Strong knowledge of rose cultivation and best practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to monitor and control environmental factors in a greenhouse setting.
• Good record-keeping and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in an agricultural setting.
• A degree or diploma in Horticulture, Agriculture, or a related field is an advantage.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in greenhouse supervision or management.
