Overview:
The Human Resource Assistant will be a key member of the Human Resource team. The role will act as the liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions. This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for recent graduates looking to build their career in Human Resources. The position reports to the HR Manager.

- Clerical and Administrative Support
- Recruitment and Onboarding Support
- Employee Records and HRIS
- Employee Relations and Compliance Support
- General Office and Departmental Support
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
- Basic understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment legislation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.) will be an added advantage.
- A willingness to learn, and grow within a fast-paced HR environment.
- Previous HR internship or attachment experience is an added advantage but not required.
- Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.

- Maintain and update employee personnel files and HR records.
- Ensure employee records are accurate, complete, confidential, and securely stored.
- Prepare, file, scan, photocopy, and distribute HR-related documents.
- Draft routine correspondence, letters, contracts, and other HR documentation.
- Manage incoming and outgoing HR correspondence and respond to routine employee queries.
- Monitor end of contract dates and liaise with the HR Associate for communication with managers
- Assist with posting job advertisements and tracking applications.
- Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates.
- Prepare interview packs and other recruitment documentation.
- Conduct reference and background check coordination, where applicable.
- Ensure new employees submit all required documentation and are properly set up in HR systems.
- Process and issue terminal documentation such as certificate of service and P9 forms for leavers
- Update employee information in the HRIS and google drives, including new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
- Support regular audits of personnel files to ensure documentation is complete and compliant.
- Update the staff and beneficiaries list affecting the respective insurance records.
- Ensure HR documentation is prepared and retained in accordance with organisational policies and applicable employment laws.
- Support HR audits and provide requested documentation.
- Assist with staff engagement activities, training sessions, and organizational events.
- Carry out other duties reasonably assigned by the HR Manager
