Position Summary
The HR Associate provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. The role assists with recruitment, onboarding, employee records, HR compliance, and general employee support to ensure smooth HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment activities, including posting vacancies, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and coordinating feedback.
- Support onboarding of new employees, including document collection, orientation, and induction arrangements.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR files, both physical and digital.
- Prepare and issue HR letters, contracts, confirmations, warnings, and other employee correspondence as directed.
- Respond to basic employee HR queries in a professional and confidential manner.
- Support attendance tracking, leave administration, and benefits-related processes.
- Assist in organizing training sessions, employee engagement activities, and HR meetings.
- Help ensure compliance with company HR policies, procedures, and applicable employment laws.
- Support exit processes, including clearance and exit interview coordination.
- Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration,Social Sciences, or a related field.
- At least 2–4 years of relevant HR or administrative experience.
- Good knowledge of Kenyan employment law and HR best practice.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of HR information systems will be an added advantage.
- Membership or progress toward membership with IHRM is an added advantage,

- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Good time management and multitasking skills.
- Problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
