This dual role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to both the strategic HR functions and the operational efficiency of our executive leadership.

Responsibilities

As an HR Manager / Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:

  • Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Managing the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Overseeing employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Administering compensation and benefits programs.
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Providing high-level administrative support to the Founder, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination.
  • Preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence on behalf of the Founder.
  • Managing special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Founder.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR role.
  • Demonstrated experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably supporting C-level executives.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and labor laws.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Experience Needed

A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in HR and executive support is required.

This is a full-time position based in our Nairobi office. We offer a collaborative and supportive work environment where your contributions are valued.
