Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Partnering: Act as a legal advisor to Department Heads on workforce planning, capacity expansion, and labor cost optimization (P&L focus).

HR Analytics & Insights: Own the data. Analyze KPIs such as labor cost percentage, turnover rates, absenteeism, and Training ROI to drive board-level decisions.

Talent & Performance Management: Drive a high-performance culture through robust Performance Management Systems (PMS), service-standard training, and internal leadership pipelines.

Industrial & Employee Relations: Lead union engagements (CBA), grievance handling, and disciplinary processes with strict adherence to Kenyan Labor Laws and IHRM standards.

HRIS & Operations: Ensure 100% accuracy in payroll oversight, benefits administration, and statutory compliance via advanced HRIS platforms.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 7 years of total HR experience, with at least 3 years specifically as an HR Manager in a large-scale hospitality or service-oriented environment.

Professionalism: Valid and active member of IHRM (Certified HR Professional).

Tech Savvy: High proficiency in HRIS and data analytics tools.

Business Acumen: Strong understanding of financial metrics and the ability to translate people data into actionable business growth strategies.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management or Business Administration (HR Option).
