General Purpose

Our client, a leading company in the hospitality industry, is seeking a motivated HR Intern to join their team. This internship offers hands-on experience in human resource management with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time role upon successful completion.

Location: Thika Road | Gross Salary: Ksh. 15,000

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in recruitment processes, including posting job ads, shortlisting candidates, and scheduling interviews
  • Support onboarding activities for new employees, including documentation and orientation
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases accurately
  • Assist in organizing staff training, workshops, and engagement activities
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department
  • Help with day-to-day HR activities such as attendance tracking and leave management

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management from a reputable Kenyan university
  • Previous practical work exposure of 1+ year in HR or related administrative roles is an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of HR processes, labor laws, and hospitality industry practices
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and multitasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information professionally
