Job Summary
The Hairstylist provides professional hair care services including cutting, styling, colouring, treatments, and consultations while ensuring clients receive exceptional service and personalized beauty solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Hair Services
- Perform haircuts, styling, blow-drying, and finishing.
- Provide hair colouring, highlights, balayage, and toning services.
- Perform hair treatments and scalp therapies.
- Install and maintain wigs, weaves, braids, and extensions where applicable.
- Recommend suitable hairstyles based on client preferences.
- Educate clients on home hair care.
Client Experience
- Conduct client consultations.
- Deliver excellent customer service.
- Build repeat clientele.
- Maintain appointment schedules efficiently.
Salon Operations
- Maintain cleanliness of styling stations.
- Sterilize equipment and tools.
- Monitor product inventory.
- Support salon promotional activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Certificate or Diploma in Hairdressing or Cosmetology.
- Minimum 1–2 years' salon experience.
- Knowledge of current hair trends and styling techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
