Background

We are hiring for the position of Head of Medical Services. This role is crucial for the effective management and delivery of healthcare services within our organization.

Responsibilities

  • The Head of Medical Services will be responsible for overseeing all medical operations, ensuring high standards of patient care, and managing the medical team. Key duties include clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and strategic planning for healthcare services.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Candidates must possess a Degree of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from a recognized institution.
  • A Master's Degree in Medicine (MMed), Public Health (MPH), Health Systems Management, Healthcare Management, or Business Administration (MBA) is an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive clinical experience, with at least 3 years in a senior clinical leadership or medical management role, preferably within a busy Level 4 or higher healthcare facility, is required.
  • Valid registration and annual practicing license from the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) are mandatory. Demonstrated experience in clinical governance, quality improvement, and healthcare operations is essential.
