HEAD TEACHER

Located along Ngong Road, The ACK Good Samaritan School Karen, is a pioneering faith-based initiative of the Anglican Church of Kenya (All Saints Cathedral Diocese), relaunched to provide quality Competency Based Education (CBE) for Pre-Primary and Lower Primary learners.

ACK Good Samaritan School Karen invites applications for the position of the Head Teacher. This is a critical, pioneering leadership role. We seek a visionary, TSC-Registered professional to build our school's culture and operations from the ground up, dedicated to excellence, compliance, and our Christian values. Target Opening Date: January 6, 2026.

Key Responsibilities: The Head Teacher is the Chief Academic and Administrative Officer, responsible for the successful relaunch and operational leadership of the school - currently offering Playgroup to Grade 3, with registration to progress up to Grade 9. They are expected to be a teaching head, leading curriculum delivery, ensuring compliance with the Ministry of Education standards, and embodying the school's commitment to nurturing hearts and embedding Christian values.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  1. TSC Active Status (Mandatory).
  2. Bachelor's Degree in Education or Equivalent.
  3. 5+ Years of Leadership Experience in an educational institution, with strong exposure to Basic Education (CBC).
  4. Proven Mastery of CBC Curriculum implementation and compliance.
  5. Strong Christian values, emotional intelligence, and team collaboration skills.
  6. A Certificate of Good Conduct is mandatory.
