Stepping Stones Preparatory School in Thika, is pleased to invite applications for the position of a Head Teacher. This is a leadership opportunity for a dedicated, visionary, and highly organized educator who is passionate about driving academic excellence, nurturing staff development, and fostering a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the Campus.
- Oversee curriculum implementation and ensure high academic standards across all grades.
- Ensure compliance with school policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor and support teaching staff through coaching, observation, and professional development.
- Promote positive student behavior and uphold school values and culture.
- Engage parents, guardians, and the wider school community to support student success.
- Monitor and evaluate school performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Education.
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within a primary and Junior School set up.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage school operations, and drive academic results.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A commitment to the school's vision, mission, and core values.
