Job Summary & Strategic Scope
Equator Energy is seeking an experienced, vision-driven Head of Finance to lead its financial operations, direct strategic fiscal planning, and support regional expansion within the renewable energy sector. You will oversee overall financial management, corporate governance, capital allocation, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Financial Management: Formulate, execute, and monitor long-term financial strategies aligned with corporate expansion goals.
- Financial Reporting & Governance: Oversee accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensure strict alignment with international accounting standards.
- Capital & Risk Management: Manage corporate treasury operations, financial risks, tax planning, and investor/banking relationships.
- Team Leadership: Direct and mentor the finance and accounting team to drive operational excellence and continuous performance improvement.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certification: Full professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA-K, ACCA, CFA).
- Experience: Proven senior leadership experience of 5 years overseeing corporate finance functions, preferably within renewable energy, infrastructure, or technical sectors.
- Core Competencies: Executive leadership, strategic foresight, deep corporate tax knowledge, and exceptional commercial acumen.
