Background

On behalf of our client, a leading IT company delivering technology systems and solutions across Africa, Human Capital Outsourcing Limited is recruiting an experienced Head of Finance to oversee financial planning, reporting, compliance, and controls across multi- country operations. The role is responsible for ensuring financial integrity, supporting strategic decision-making, managing budgets and cash flow, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and tax requirements across regional markets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management and statutory accounts.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury operations.
• Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements across regions.
• Oversee audits, internal controls, and risk management frameworks.
• Support business strategy through financial analysis and performance insights.
• Monitor project costing, margins, and profitability for IT solutions and contracts.
• Manage finance team performance, development, and capacity building.
• Implement and maintain financial systems, controls, and reporting tools.
• Liaise with external auditors, banks, regulators, and tax authorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in finance management, preferably within IT or technology firms.
• Strong understanding of multi-currency, multi-country financial operations.
• Experience in project-based accounting and contract management.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and financial reporting skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• High integrity, attention to detail, and strategic mindset.
