Head of Product Sales & Commercialization
Location: Nairobi| Travel across Africa required
The Role
The Head of Product Sales & Commercialization will lead the commercial strategy, sales execution, client onboarding systems, and post-sale support structure for Eval360 across Africa.
You will be responsible for building and managing the sales pipeline, closing enterprise-level deals, designing onboarding frameworks, and leading a small but high-performance commercial team.

Eval360 is an AI-enabled Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL) platform designed to transform how organizations track performance, manage risk, monitor budgets, and demonstrate impact.
Built by Vantage Africa School of Leadership, a continental leader in M&E capacity building (trained 18,000+ professionals across 28+ countries), Eval360 is positioned to become Africa’s leading performance intelligence system for NGOs, governments, and development partners.
We are now entering the commercialization phase.
We are looking for a strong, experienced software sales leader to drive market penetration and onboard institutional clients.
Key Responsibilities
1 Commercial Strategy & Market Penetration
- Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Eval360
- Identify and prioritize high-value institutional clients (NGOs, donors, foundations, governments)
- Design go-to-market strategies for different segments
- Lead execution plan to secure institutional clients
2 Enterprise Software Sales
- Lead product demos and executive-level presentations
- Negotiate contracts and close high-value SaaS deals
- Manage sales pipeline and forecast revenue
- Develop pricing and packaging strategy alongside leadership
3 Marketing & Positioning
- Work with marketing team to refine value proposition
- Develop sales decks, case studies, and messaging
- Position Eval360 as a premium, enterprise-grade solution
4 Client Onboarding & Success
- Design structured onboarding process for new clients
- Ensure seamless implementation and adoption
- Develop client retention and upsell strategies
- Oversee client support systems
5 Team Leadership
- Lead and manage commercial team
- Set targets and performance KPIs
- Build a culture of accountability and performance
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field (MBA is an added advantage)
- Minimum 5–7 years experience in:
- Enterprise software / SaaS sales
- B2B solution selling
- Negotiation of high-value contracts
- Proven track record of closing institutional or enterprise deals
- Experience managing sales pipelines and leading teams
- Strong understanding of SaaS revenue models (ARR, churn, CAC, LTV etc.)
- Experience in NGO, development, or public sector market is an added advantage
