PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The job holder will lead, develop and manage Programmes team to achieve the aspiration of Kenya Society for the Blind Strategic Plan 2026 2035, through Program Development and implementation, effective Coordination, Consolidation, technical support and guidance by ensuring a cohesive team spirit and motivation to perform.

He/She shall be responsible for managing effective resource mobilization, prioritization and allocation of the same for effective work plan delivery in order to meet the Society's objective.

The successful candidate is responsible for working with KSB Partners and stakeholders to foster long-term relationship to successfully deliver KSB strategy.

  • Program Planning, Management and Implementation
  • Fund Raising & Donor Relationship Management
  • Program Reviews, Monitoring, Evaluation, Program Learning and Reporting
  • Partnerships and Networking
  • Financial Management
  • Human Resource Management
  • Policy Management and Compliance

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Degree from a reputable organization
  • Post graduate qualification in Project Management
  • At least 15 years' relevant experience in project work of which 5 years should be at senior management level
  • Up to date knowledge and/or experience in key priority areas and in project management
  • Demonstrated robust planning and evaluation skills

Job Group: KSB/JG/02 Salary Entry: Kes. 169,575/Month
