JOB DETAILS:

Simba Farm (AAA Growers)

Position: Head of Section - Production (Rose Production)

Reporting to: Production Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, direct, and coordinate rose production activities (greenhouse prep, planting, crop maintenance, harvesting)

Ensure flush planning and crop programming for high-demand market events

Provide accurate production forecasts (5-week and weekly)

Monitor production costs and efficient utilization of labour/materials

Supervise Growers, Netters, Transporters, and Showerers

Conduct monthly training and performance evaluations

Ensure compliance with SOPs, pest/disease control, hygiene, and H&S

KPIs: 90-95% production targets, ≥62cm length profile, ≥90% packhouse satisfaction

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Horticulture, Floriculture, Agriculture, or Crop Protection

Minimum 3–5 years' experience in flower farm in supervisory/production role

Strong knowledge of rose crop management and greenhouse operations

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: bachelor degree
