PACIS Insurance Company Limited was incorporated in Kenya in October 2004 and licensed to do business in August 2005 It is an initiative of the Catholic Church with a vision to be the icon of reliability and trustworthiness.

JOB PURPOSE

The job holder is responsible for leading underwriting and reinsurance strategy to deliver profitable growth through disciplined risk selection, adequate pricing, portfolio monitoring, effective reinsurance placement, compliance enforcement, customer experience management, and operational excellence.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE. Qualifications:

Minimum Academic Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/ Business /Economics from a recognized University.

Professional Qualifications

Qualification in Insurance, including ACII or AIIK, or equivalent professional qualification as per the Insurance Act

Membership in a relevant professional insurance body, such as the Insurance Institute of Kenya.

Experience:

Seven (7) years relevant working experience, three (3) of which should have been at supervisory level and above.

Knowledge

Strong understanding of the insurance industry, underwriting principles, reinsurance structures, regulatory requirements, risk assessment, pricing, claims trends, and portfolio profitability management.
