Background

BTTI is a newly established TVET institution constructed with funds from the Kenya Government. It is located in a serene environment conducive for learning about 5Km from Bondo town along the Bondo Misori road.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking training in areas of specialization in accordance with the syllabus;
• Preparing teaching/learning materials and schemes of work;
• Setting and marking examination/assignment;
• Carrying out research work under the guidance and supervision of a senior trainer;
• Supervising trainees projects and practical work;
• Preparing training documents;
• Participating in development and review of curricula;
• Participating in development of training manuals;
• Setting, moderating and marking examinations;
• Participate in trainee practical assessments; and
• Performing any other function that is incidental or consequential to the functions of the department.

Qualifications and Experience

For appointment to this grade, a candidate should have: -

• Bachelor Degree/Higher National Diploma in Health Records or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Be licensed by TVET Authority or meet the requirement for licensing by TVETA
• Have at least two (2) years of working experience from a recognized institution.
• Be a member of a relevant professional body, where applicable
