Pearl Hospital is a Level 4 multi-specialty hospital in Laikipia County. Guided by our values of Quality, Efficiency, Professionalism, and Compassion, we are seeking for a Health Records and Information Officer who will help to manage, maintain and safeguard patient health records and information systems, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, accessibility and compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Responsibilities or duties
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Ensure proper filing, retrieval and storage of medical records.
- Monitor completeness of patient files.
- Capture, verify and analyze patient data for reporting purposes.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information
Qualifications or requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Health Records and Information Technology or related field.
- Registration with relevant professional body
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) is an added advantage.
Experience needed
- At least 1-3 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.

- Strong attention to detail
- Analytical and reporting
- Organizational and time management skills
- High level of Integrity and confidentiality.
