JOB DETAILS:
Role Summary
The role holder assists nurses and doctors in carrying out their duties towards patients, and provides friendly, courteous and reasonable non-medical care in emergency situations, in the ward, theatre, outpatient, hospitality and housekeeping areas.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma / Certificate in Healthcare Support / Nursing Aid / Nurse Assistant
- At least two (2) years’ experience in a hospital setting as an orderly or care assistant
- Must be registered with the Kenya Health Professions Oversight Authority.
- Valid Practice License.
- Basic Life Support or First Aid training will be an added advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 24
Level of Education: associate degree
