Responsibilities or duties

The scholarship package will cover tuition fees, Project and Assessments costs for the duration of study. The scholarships are open to all Kenyans under the age of 40 years who will be engaged as Technicians and Technologists. Programmes of study funded by the scholarship are scheduled to commence in August, 2026.

Purpose: To pursue a career focused on the transmission and distribution of bulk electrical power. I aim to specialize in the design, insulation coordination, and maintenance of high-voltage equipment and substations. My objective is to ensure the safe, efficient, and uninterrupted delivery of electricity over long distances, minimizing transmission losses and enhancing national grid stability.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Applicants MUST have obtained a minimum of Diploma with Credit in the areas advertised from a recognized and accredited Institution;

The successful candidates shall be bonded under the applicable terms and conditions of the University of Meru University of Science and Technology;

The successful candidates shall be expected to complete their studies within the prescribed study period;

Scholarships are tenable at the Meru University of Science and Technology;
