Position Overview

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Teach History across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5.
• Deliver lessons aligned with curriculum requirements and school standards.
• Support learners in achieving strong academic outcomes.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and instructional delivery.
• Promote critical thinking and historical inquiry among students.
• Support student progress and achievement.
• Participate in departmental and school activities.
• Contribute to maintaining high teaching and learning standards.
• Potentially provide leadership within the History Department where appropriate.

Requirements

The school has specified the following requirements:

• Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with specialization in the respective field.
• Registration with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
• Experience teaching the British International Curriculum, particularly GCSE and A-Level programmes.
