We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team at The Eclipse Nanyuki.

Job Summary

The Hostess is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere by greeting guests, managing reservations, coordinating seating arrangements, and ensuring an exceptional first impression. The role requires excellent customer service skills, professionalism, and the ability to maintain smooth guest flow during service.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Relations

• Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and waiting lists efficiently.
• Respond to guest inquiries and provide accurate information about the restaurant.
• Address customer concerns professionally and escalate issues where necessary.

Front-of-House Operations

• Coordinate seating to maximize table utilization.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
• Communicate effectively with service staff regarding guest arrivals and special requests.
• Support smooth restaurant operations during busy service periods.

Customer Experience

• Ensure guests receive prompt and courteous service.
• Promote a positive dining experience through professionalism and hospitality.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Service, or a related field is an added advantage.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Hostess, Receptionist, or in customer service is preferred.
