  Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Greeting: Welcoming customers warmly upon arrival and thanking them as they leave.
  • Seating Management: Escorting guests to tables and balancing the workload among servers.
  • Reservation Handling: Managing bookings via phone, online systems, or walk-in waitlists.
  • Menu Distribution: Handing out menus, highlighting specials, and introducing the server.
  • Lobby Maintenance: Keeping the entrance, hosting podium, and waiting areas clean and organized. 

  Required Skills

  • Customer Service: Friendly, polite, and professional attitude under pressure.
  • Communication: Clear speaking skills and active listening to handle guest requests.
  • Multitasking: Ability to manage a crowded waiting area while answering phones.
  • Tech Literacy: Familiarity with reservation software (like OpenTable or Resy) and POS systems.

Level of Education: bachelor degree
