About the Institution

Role Overview & Scope

Housekeeping Staff will maintain pristine environmental sanitation, infection control hygiene, and cleanliness across hospital wards, offices, and clinical areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning & Decontamination: Sanitize hospital rooms, clinical areas, furniture, and facilities using approved disinfectants.
• Waste Management: Collect and segregate medical and domestic waste in accordance with biohazard guidelines.
• Linen Handling: Manage hospital linen distribution, laundry routines, and ward cleanliness.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) certificate.
• Competencies: Knowledge of healthcare hygiene, infection prevention routines, and chemical safety handling.
• Experience: Previous experience in hotel or institutional housekeeping is advantageous.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: high school
