Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to join our team in Nairobi. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives in the fast-paced FMCG sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with leadership skills and the ability to travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with overall business goals.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and talent development programs.
  • Oversee employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Manage compensation, benefits, and payroll processes.
  • Provide guidance and support to management on HR policies and procedures.
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics to support decision-making.
  • Coordinate training and development programs to enhance workforce capability.
  • Represent the company in HR-related forums and maintain strong professional networks.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • Must be a registered member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM).
  • Minimum of 6 years’ HR experience, preferably in FMCG or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and HR compliance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Age: 32 years and above.

  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
