About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resource Generalist to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, and HR policy implementation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our HR department and the company as a whole.
Responsibilities
The Human Resource Generalist will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires.
- Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Administering compensation and benefits programs.
- Overseeing employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Managing performance appraisal systems and employee development programs.
- Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Maintaining employee records and HRIS systems.
- Providing HR support and guidance to employees and management.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resource Generalist role.
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and compensation & benefits.
- Strong knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
