• Teach the principles of human resource management including recruitment and selection, performance management, and employee relations.
• Supervise students in developing HR plans, job evaluations, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Conduct research on talent management, organizational behavior, and HR strategy alignment with organizational goals.
• Train students in HRIS, data analytics in HR, compensation and benefits administration.
• Develop teaching materials on employment law, labor relations, diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
• Guide students in understanding the role of HR in change management and employee development.
• Collaborate with organizations on HR strategy, recruitment, and performance management advisory projects.
• Setting, moderating, invigilating and marking examinations.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

i. Applicants should hold a PhD or a master's degree qualification in a relevant field from a recognized academic institution; and possess vast teaching or industry experience at undergraduate/postgraduate levels.

ii. Applicants must have served as a Lecturer or equivalent industry experience in a university or institution recognized by the Senate of JOOUST.

iii. Demonstrate potential for university teaching and/or research;

iv. At least two (2) years teaching experience in a university.

v. Master's holders registered for PhD may be considered

vi. Be registered with the relevant professional body as required by the field of specialization.
