Background

Guru Nanak Ramgharia Sikh Hospital is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee the Hospital’s HR function and support the achievement of its strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Lead recruitment, performance management and staff development.
• Manage disciplinary processes, grievance handling, and employee relations.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
• Drive employee engagement and high-performance culture.
• Manage payroll, employee benefits, and HR records.
• Advise management on HR matters and provide strategic HR support.
• Prepare HR reports, workforce analytics, and departmental budgets.
• Mentor the HR team and ensure efficient delivery of HR services.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Membership of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) with a valid practising licence.
• Minimum five (5) years’ HR experience, with at least three (3) in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws, HR best practices and core hospital management processes.
• Experience in the healthcare sector will be an added advantage.
