Position Overview

Jordan Hospital Ltd is seeking a proactive, strategic, and experienced Human Resource Manager to lead and oversee the hospital human resource and administrative functions. The successful candidate will be instrumental in cultivating a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance with labor laws and institutional policies, and driving effective coordination across departments to enhance organizational performance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze HR metrics (e.g. staffing levels, absenteeism, turnover trends) and generate periodic reports to support data-driven decision-making by management.
  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate selection, onboarding, orientation, and induction.
  • Promote a positive and compliant workplace culture through effective employee relations and engagement initiatives.
  • Advise and support departmental heads in handling disciplinary matters in accordance with organizational policies and labor laws.
  • Develop, review, and enforce HR and administrative policies and procedures to ensure alignment with legal and institutional standards.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, health and safety regulations, and ethical codes of practice.
  • Coordinate performance management processes, including the administration of appraisals and follow-ups with departmental leads.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive hospital performance reports (monthly, quarterly, and annually) to the Management Board, or more frequently as required.
  • Act as a liaison with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, government agencies, and insurance service providers.
  • Foster interdepartmental collaboration by ensuring clear and consistent internal communication and team coordination.
  • Oversee day-to-day hospital operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, standards, and policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, and manage matters related to staff welfare, leave administration, and medical insurance.
  • Streamline administrative workflows and support the preparation, communication, and execution of internal memos and policies.
  • Perform any other duties that maybe assigned by the Board.

Minimum Qualifications & Competencies

  • Higher National Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Medical qualifications or healthcare experience an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a combined HR and administrative role, preferably in the healthcare or service sector.
  • Sound understanding of HR practices, labor laws, employee relations, performance management, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and people management skills.
  • Proficient in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask under minimal supervision.
  • Valid Certificate of Good Conduct is required.
