We are seeking a self-driven Human Resource Officer to manage day-to-day HR operations, including payroll, compliance with labour laws, staff relations, and core HR processes, with minimal supervision.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage end-to-end HR operations including onboarding, contracts, payroll coordination, leave, and employee records
- Ensure compliance with the Kenya Employment Act (2007) and Data Protection Act (2019)
- Support recruitment, training, and performance management processes
- Serve as the main contact for employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary matters
- Handle disciplinary hearings, terminations, and dispute resolution professionally
- Oversee payroll accuracy and conduct regular HR compliance audits
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or a related field
- 3-4 years' HR experience within the hospitality industry
- CHRP certification is an added advantage
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Solid knowledge of the Kenyan Employment Act
