Job Summary

Our client seeks a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resource Officer to support payroll administration, statutory compliance, employee relations, and HR systems management in a structured work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer payroll processes accurately and ensure statutory compliance (PAYE, NSSF, SHIF, Housing Levy).
  • Prepare and reconcile statutory returns.
  • Coordinate Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) initiatives.
  • Manage disciplinary processes, grievances, and employee relations matters.
  • Maintain accurate HRIS records.
  • Support performance management processes and KPI tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal HR policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a structured organization.
  • Professional qualification (IHRM or equivalent) is an added advantage.
  • Proven hands-on experience in payroll and statutory compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws.
  • High accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple HR priorities independently.
