Job Summary
Our client seeks a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resource Officer to support payroll administration, statutory compliance, employee relations, and HR systems management in a structured work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer payroll processes accurately and ensure statutory compliance (PAYE, NSSF, SHIF, Housing Levy).
- Prepare and reconcile statutory returns.
- Coordinate Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) initiatives.
- Manage disciplinary processes, grievances, and employee relations matters.
- Maintain accurate HRIS records.
- Support performance management processes and KPI tracking.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal HR policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a structured organization.
- Professional qualification (IHRM or equivalent) is an added advantage.
- Proven hands-on experience in payroll and statutory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws.
- High accuracy and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle multiple HR priorities independently.
