Background

Summit Recruitment & Search was established in 2009 to address the recruitment, mass recruitment, executive search, outsourcing and training needs of companies based in Kenya or wanting to enter the Kenyan, East African, South African and African market.

Role Overview

The role will cover recruitment, onboarding, employee records, employee support, compliance, and general HR administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the recruitment process by advertising vacancies, screening CVs, maintaining candidate records, coordinating interviews, and tracking candidates through the ATS.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding, prepare employment documentation in collaboration with HQ, collect required paperwork, facilitate orientation, and support employee exit processes.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, both physical and electronic, and ensure information is properly updated within the HRIS.
  • Respond to employee queries relating to company policies, benefits, procedures, and general HR matters, escalating complex issues where necessary.
  • Support compliance with Kenyan labour laws and statutory requirements, monitor HR deadlines, and prepare routine HR reports for management.
  • Provide administrative support on employee relations matters and assist in implementing HR policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR function and contribute to initiatives that improve HR processes, employee experience, and operational efficiency.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, with familiarity with HRIS and ATS platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, attention to detail.
