Role Description - Key roles
We are in search of a skilled Human Resources Officer to manage the routine functions of the HR department including resourcing, leave management, discipline/grievance handling and management, performance management and enforcing company policies and practices.
Key roles
- Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy;
- Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other work-related issues;
- Managing the recruitment and selection process;
- Supporting current and future business needs through employee development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital;
- Nurturing a positive working environment;
- Managing the performance evaluation system that drives high performance;
- Ensuring legal compliance throughout human resource management
- Handling workplace disputes, disciplinary actions, and terminations
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- BSc/BA in Human Resource Management, Business Administration – a MUST have,
- CHRP Qualification will be an added advantage
- Active member of IHRM
- Proven experience as HR officer as a generalist in a fast-paced organization
- Knowledge of HR functions
- Good understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
- Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
- Ability to work independently
