Job descriptions & requirements

a) Responsible for designing, organizing, modifying, and supporting a company's computer systems. Designs and installs LANs, WANs, Internet and intranet systems, network segments, Telephone systems,DSTV and CCTV systems.

b) Carrying out duties related to all IT areas and IT department of the company ranging from setting up, trouble shooting and repairs of any hardware and software with any of the company systems and servers: Fidelio, Micros and Tally.

c) Designing and implementing preventive maintenance tasks for all hardware and software in the company

d) Responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting internal and internet network and making adjustments to ensure 100% uptime and speeds

e) Responsible for designing and monitoring the companies firewall and anti-virus software to ensure network security

f) Responsible for troubleshooting and repairs of the telephone system and phones in the rooms

g) Monitoring and troubleshooting of DSTV related issues

h) Monitoring, installing and troubleshooting of CCTV related issues

i) Responsible for the server room and all equipment’s installed there.

j) In charge of the companies domain, website and email server

kl) Doing data backup

l) Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
