An ICT Health Records & Information Officer manages and maintains patient health records using information and communication technology (ICT) systems, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and security while complying with health regulations and improving healthcare delivery. 

Data Management: Overseeing the collection, entry, and organization of patient and healthcare data, ensuring its accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality. Technology Integration: Implementing and utilizing health information systems to streamline record management processes and secure data storage. Compliance: Ensuring that health records adhere to legal and ethical standards, including patient confidentiality and data protection laws. Quality Improvement: Identifying and implementing improvements in health record management processes to enhance data quality and reliability. Auditing and Reporting: Assisting with medical audits by providing access to records and supporting documentation, as well as collecting and analyzing health data for reporting.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using health information systems and ICT infrastructure for data management. Soft Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential. Ethical Conduct: High integrity and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
A Bachelor's degree or relevant certificate in Health Informatics, Information Science, or a related field is often required.
