Position Overview
Our client, a leading private healthcare facility in Nairobi, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced ICU Nurse to join its critical care team.
This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a high-acuity ICU environment, ensuring adherence to clinical standards, patient safety protocols, and best practices in critical care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medications
- Operate advanced life-support and monitoring equipment
- Ensure adherence to evidence-based ICU protocols
- Monitor patient safety, infection control, and clinical outcomes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate patient records and handover documentation
- Support quality improvement initiatives and continuous professional development
Qualifications & Requirements
- BScN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
- Postgraduate training in Critical Care / ICU / Anesthesia
- Valid NCK license
- 3–5 years ICU experience
- Mandatory ACLS & BLS certifications

- Strong expertise in critical care nursing
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making
- Knowledge of ICU protocols and infection prevention
