The Westlands Specialist Hospital is a leading healthcare provider in Kenya, committed to delivering high-quality patient care. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Nurse to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities or duties
As an ICU Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Providing direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
- Monitoring patient vital signs and responding to changes in condition.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Operating and maintaining life support equipment.
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educating patients and their families about their condition and treatment.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A valid nursing license in Kenya.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience needed
Previous experience working in an Intensive Care Unit is required.
