Minimun Certificate in Fiber optics or related field. Atleast 1+ years of experience in a similar role. Basic understanding of fiber network concepts. Proficiency in fiber handling & maintenance.

Strong problem-solving skills and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Installing and terminating fiber optic cables and other network equipment.

Resolving Loss of Service and Connections within SLA.

Ensure tickets are updated timely and closed with clears once resolved.

Observing Health & Safety guidelines and ensuring quality assurance throughout the implementation and maintenance period.

Educating clients on basic troubleshooting processes and answering fiber optic related questions from customers. Individuals will work as a team with other technicians and NOC personnel and report to field supervisors.

Fiber link faulting and faults resolutions within the Service Level Agreement (SLA).

Splicing fiber optics at various fiber distribution hubs, troubleshooting and testing fiber links with a light source, optical power meters and an OTDR.

Providing timely updates on fiber faults to the NOC personnel and ensuring excellent customer service to the client.

Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.
