JOB SUMMARY

Purpose:

• Assist the IT department in providing technical support.
• Support the smooth operation of organizational IT systems.
• Gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting, networking, cybersecurity, and software management.
• Provide support to end-users with IT-related needs.
• Develop practical skills in IT infrastructure management and technical support.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Support:

• Assist in troubleshooting hardware issues for end-users.
• Assist in troubleshooting software issues for end-users.
• Ensure minimal downtime of IT systems and services.

IT Asset Management:

• Maintain inventory records of IT equipment.
• Report on equipment upgrades and replacement requirements.

Software Support:

• Install software applications.
• Configure software applications.
• Update software applications used within the organization.

Preventive Maintenance:

• Perform preventive maintenance on network infrastructure.
• Support the reliability and performance of IT systems.

Other Duties:

• Perform additional IT-related tasks assigned by the Head of IT.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

• Degree in Information Technology
• Degree in Computer Science
• Diploma in Information Technology
• Diploma in Computer Science
• Related field
• Candidate must be from Laisamis Constituency
• Recently completed studies
