JOB DETAILS:

Role Overview:

The IT Security Specialist will enhance the bank’s cybersecurity posture by implementing security controls, monitoring threats, and providing technical expertise across ICT systems. This role involves proactive security management, incident response, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to mitigate cyber risks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan, conduct, and manage periodic user access recertification and reviews.
2. Provide tactical security expertise across various security domains (e.g., network, systems, applications).
3. Offer technical security support for ICT projects from inception to implementation.
4. Implement procedural, operational, and technical security controls across the bank’s ICT systems.
5. Install, configure, and upgrade security systems/solutions while maintaining security standards.
6. Identify and resolve information security problems, anomalies, and policy violations.
7. Conduct continuous research on threats affecting the bank’s information assets.
8. Monitor ICT systems for indicators of compromise, investigate incidents, and implement containment measures.
9. Collaborate with assurance teams (e.g., Information Risk, Audit) to mitigate cyber risks.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Security Certification: CEH, SSCP, CISA, OSCP, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent.
• 3+ years in Information Technology, with 1+ year in Information/Cybersecurity.
• 2+ years in Systems/Database/Network Administration.
• Experience in project implementation and user training is desired.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
