Job summary

We are looking for a qualified IT specialist to install, maintain, and support computer systems, networks, and software within the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining IT equipment, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems and diagnose hardware/software faults.
  • Provide technical support to staff in person, via phone, or email.
  • Set up new users' accounts and profiles.
  • Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems.
  • Maintain IT inventory and equipment records.
  • Perform regular system updates and maintenance checks.
  • Support the organization in IT-related projects and upgrades.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Officer, IT Support, or similar role.
  • Knowledge of computer systems, networks, and IT security.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
