Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support Technician to join our dynamic IT team in Nairobi. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in person.
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues, including network connectivity, hardware malfunctions, and software errors.
  • Assist with the setup and configuration of new user accounts and equipment.
  • Maintain IT inventory and documentation.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common hardware.
  • Familiarity with network troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
