IT Teacher

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Information Technology/Computer lessons appropriate to learners' levels.
• Teach fundamental and practical computer skills, digital literacy, and relevant ICT concepts.
• Develop practical activities that allow learners to apply technology skills.
• Assess learner understanding and monitor academic progress.
• Maintain and promote responsible, safe, and ethical use of technology.
• Support the effective use of digital tools and technology within the school where required.
• Maintain appropriate records of lesson plans, assessments, and learner progress.
• Participate in co-curricular activities, staff meetings, school events, and professional development.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
• Strong practical computer and digital skills.
• Good communication and classroom management abilities.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to learners.
• Creativity and enthusiasm for integrating technology into education.
• Commitment to safeguarding, professionalism, and the holistic development of learners.
