Background
Gertrude’s Children’s Hospital is a seeking a creative, passionate, and results-oriented professional to join their Foundation team as an Impact Communications Officer. The role will play a key part in capturing and communicating the impact of our programmes through compelling storytelling, donor communications, and multimedia content that inspires engagement and support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Development Studies, or a related field
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in communications, impact reporting, fundraising communications, preferably within a non-profit, NGO, or healthcare setting
- Strong storytelling, content creation, and donor communication skills
- Proficiency in graphic design and multimedia tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar platforms
- Experience in photography, videography, and social media management
- Strong analytical, creative, and interpersonal communication skills
- Understanding of ethical storytelling, safeguarding, and beneficiary confidentiality
- A strong portfolio showcasing impact reports, donor communications, graphic design, and video production will be an added advantage
