POSITION OVERVIEW
DeerHR Consulting Limited is seeking highly driven, well-connected Independent Business Development Consultants to expand our footprint across Kenya, the GCC, and the wider African market.
This is a fully remote, performance-based opportunity designed for professionals who thrive on results, have strong networks, and are passionate about driving business growth. You will play a critical role in client acquisition, strategic partnerships, and promoting our comprehensive HR solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in HR consulting and outsourcing
- Generate leads and convert them into paying clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and key decision-makers
- Promote DeerHR’s services: recruitment, training, HR outsourcing, payroll, and advisory
- Develop strategic partnerships with SMEs, corporates, and institutions
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations
- Follow up on leads, inquiries, and referrals to close deals
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and provide regular progress updates
- Represent the company at meetings, networking events, and business forums
- Provide market insights and intelligence on industry trends and client needs
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, HR, or a related field
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management
- Strong existing network within corporate, SME, or entrepreneurial ecosystems
- Experience in HR consulting, recruitment, or professional services is an added advantage
- Demonstrated ability to close deals and meet/exceed sales targets

- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities
